Blendon Township has many parks, trails, and greenspace for residents to enjoy the outdoors. Hoover Dam is one of the largest parks in the area offering boating, fishing, walking trails and more. Ridgewood Park, located off Buenos Aires Boulevard, offers a shelter house, a gazebo, walking trails and playground equipment. Sunbury Woods Commons is located in the Sunbury Woods neighborhood, which also has playground equipment and an abundance of open greenspace. Additionally, Phelps Acre, located on the corner of Dempsey and Hempstead Roads, has a playground and a beautiful historic memorial to commemorate the church that was formerly on the site.
