Blendon-Westerville Joint Economic Development Zone (JEDZ)

In November of 2012 Blendon Township residents voted to create the Blendon-Westerville Joint Economic Development Zone. The zone includes hundreds of businesses in Blendon Township. The businesses and employees at each business will pay a 2% income tax to the JEDZ Board of Directors which will be used by the Blendon Township Trustees to fund economic development projects in and around the zone. The JEDZ board consists of three members appointed by the Blendon Township Trustees and three members appointed by Westerville City Council.
