The Blendon Township Service Department is responsible for road maintenance, storm sewer maintenance, snow removal, park maintenance, cemetery maintenance, street signs and a variety of other public service needs. The staff consists of a Service Director and two equipment operators. Part time and seasonal staff are often used to supplement staffing needs.

Service Department News
- Refuse Collection Information
- Please contact Rumpke at least 24 hours before your regularly scheduled collection to request a large item pick-up for acceptable large items, and/or excessive amounts of trash. Television sets cannot exceed 32 inches for curbside pick-up. Any mattress or upholstered furniture must be completely sealed in disposable plastic for removal. Additional fees may apply.

- Right-of-Way Permits – Franklin County Engineer's Office In accordance with Section 5589.10 of the Ohio Revised Code, anyone planning to do any type of work or placement of anything within the road Right-of-Way within Blendon Township, is required to obtain a Right-of-Way permit. For utility work a set of plans will be required. There is no fee associated with this permit.
