I have some questions about the cemetery, should I make an appointment?

Yes, appointments are required. Please call 614-882-1270 or email cemetery@blendontwp.org to set up an appointment. If you think you will be late, please call the office. Late arrivals of 15 minutes or more will be rescheduled. 

How can I pay for a space in the cemetery?

We accept check, cash, or card. Cash must be exact change. Spaces must be paid in full at the time of purchase, as we do not offer any payment plans. We can hold a plot for 6 months without payment.

Can I get my crypt engraved in the Mausoleum?

Yes, please contact the office to get an engravement form: 614-882-1270

How can I get a headstone engraved?

We do not engrave headstones. Please contact a monument company to do so.

Can I purchase a headstone from the cemetery?

No, we do not sell them. Please contact a monument company to do so.

What am I allowed to put on a grave?

Please refer to our rules and regulations for what we do and do not permit. If you do need see something listed, please contact the cemetery office before placing the item to ensure it is allowed. 

Can I rent the chapel in the cemetery for a service?

How do I get a foundation for my headstone?

Foundations for headstones and memorials will be arranged between the monument company and the cemetery. The minimum size for a foundation is 1’x2’ at a cost of $165. Any foundation over this amount will be at $0.65 per square inch. A 2” apron is required and should be figured into the total amount of foundation. We pour foundations twice a year: Spring deadline is April 15 and Fall is October 1st. Pouring will start towards the end of the month. The monument companies will be contacted once the foundations have been completed.
