The development and care of Township parks is controlled by the Township Trustees. The Parks Advisory Committee in partnership with the Maintenance Director and Township Administrator makes recommendations for improvements.

 The Parks Advisory Committee will serve as an advisory committee to the Blendon Township Board of Trustees. The committee will make recommendations concerning the development, planning, and use of parks in the Township. This committee will:

• Be comprised of resident volunteers assigned by the Board of Trustees and a Township liaison assigned by the Board of Trustees.

• Maintain five or more members.

• All volunteers will serve a term determined by the Board of Trustees.

• Meet a minimum of four times per year.

• Make recommendations to the Board of Trustees.

• Represent all Township parks to include Ridgewood Park, Phelps Acre Park, Sunbury Woods Common space, pocket parks located at Harbin Drive and Buenos Aires Blvd. and all other green spaces owned by Blendon Township.
